My Choice

This girl almost got me to runaway, but I chose instead to stay. She makes me feel alive inside, Even though I felt I died.
We talk all night, we don’t even fight. Because when I hear you, My world turns just for you. Some say your a disease, That does to me what you please. But I say that there’s no way, Because you make my heart sway. We are so far apart, But damn if you’d feel my heart. I never want to leave you alone, You give my heart its own tone. But I have one thing to do, That will tell you something true. What I am about to say, I’m sure will cause dismay. Though my heart beats wild for you, I’ll never be with you. The reason why this can’t not be, Is because I feel I must be free. If I spend my time thinking of us together, I’ll never find who’s mine forever. I’m dying inside to think of this, But in the end we’ll both feel bliss. You’ll fall in love with another guy, Where you’ll watch the years roll by. And always know I’m here for you, If you need someone just to talk to. There will always be a spot in my heart, That I will always have set apart.
